Lucinda Ericksen, founder of White Buffalo Pottery, studied pottery at the University of Utah.  She has had her own studio for about 15 years.  During her travels abroad she fell in love with the old world pottery of Europe, especially the Italian hand-painted majolica.  She tutored under the Italian artist Gina Garner, then later studied at the Ceramic art school Romano Ranieri in Deruta, Italy.  She has been teaching youth and adults pottery in her home studio for 10 years.  She is excited for the new Muddie Buddies Studio on 500 West in Bountiful, where she can expand her classes and share her passion for pottery.
